Who’s on TV at Whos.tv? Well, there’s a damn good chance that it’s whoever you want to see, doing whatever you want to see her doing. That’s arguably the titillating promise behind any good adult video platform, but as we’ll soon see, these guys have built some newfangled features that makes it a bit easier than it is elsewhere. There is one catch, though, as the selection does focus on the beautiful women of one particular island nation. You’re into Japanese chicks, right?
Whos.tv has the instant accessibility of a free tube, with a world-class library of dirty movies just a click away, but this isn’t yet another Pornhub wannabe. In fact, they don’t even host the smut you’ll be shaking your dick at today, but they do provide the tools for digging into the pile. The platform is actually a search engine devoted entirely to JAV (Japanese Adult Video). Aside from a tight focus on their chosen niche, the joint stands apart from other X-rated Google substitutes with one of the best feature sets I’ve ever seen on one of these platforms. If you haven’t already clicked through, favorite keywords at the ready, let me tell you why I’ve been spending so much time here lately.
Hundreds of Thousands of Free Asian Pornos
According to the most estimates I can find, Google currently indexes over 400 billion websites and documents across the internet. They’re the kings of the search engine game for a good reason, but we already know they ain’t perfect in every respect. The whole reason I started ThePornDude in the first place is because Google just wasn’t great at separating the good adult websites from the trash.
I bring up these numbers because Whos.tv has a lot in common with both Google and my own little show here; they’ve indexed a whole shitload of content around the web like Google, but they’ve done a better job organizing the adult stuff than the big G. Unlike most porn search engines, they’ve also built some truly impressive Google-like features that I’ll get into shortly.
Back to the numbers, Whos.tv currently lists over 300,000 JAV pornos, with links for free, easy viewing. Even without the advanced search functions, it’s one hell of a directory. If you ain’t picky, you can click randomly and end up with a damn fine piece of Asian pornography. They include a nice set of stats for each film, including actresses, tags, duration and release date.
Their AV Actress Database is likewise something to behold. They’ve got over 23,000 JAV actresses listed, each with their own viewable filmography. I’m hoping to see some Wiki-style bios included on the profiles as the platform continues to grow, but they do include some random stats here and there, like body measurements and debut years. The index is very well maintained, with thumbnail pics for most of the models, letting you peruse by picture even if you don’t know a lot of AV idol names.
A New Way to Browse for JAV
If you’re a fan of JAV, I’m sure you’ve seen sites where the Tags section is an unwieldy, thousands-deep index of keywords covering everything from the basics (blowjobs and titwanks) to hyper specific micro-fetishes (train groping and office lady nylon footjobs). These can be fun to browse, but can also be a pain in the balls when you’re just aching for release.
Whos.tv just unveiled an epic update, and one of the new features is something they called Frame Exploration. It’s a very unique approach to organizing the collection that I’ve never seen implemented anywhere else. You can browse by poses, outfits, sex acts, locations and other elements.
The tech companies keep talking about how AI is going to change our lives for the better, but now my Google results are fucked up and my phone’s voice assistant stopped being helpful. Looking at the Frame Exploration feature, though, I get the feeling AI has done something useful for once, processing the movies and cataloging every element for easy filtering.
I clicked the Behavior category, then tapped the Oral Sex button. That pulled up no fewer than 13,000 movies where somebody had a soft tongue against their turgid naughty bits. Under the Expression category, I found nearly 5,000 kinky films with pain painted on those pretty faces. I checked out the Tools section, where I found 9,000 movies with beds, 10k with sofas, and 1.6k with potted plants.
Potted plants, huh? I take that as confirmation that this is an AI-powered feature, and just maybe the robot brains could use a little guidance on what horny humans are searching for. Either way, I really like this interface, and I’m curious to see if it takes off across the adult internet. This seems like the first truly viable alternative I’ve ever seen to the usual keyword tagging systems.
However you organize it, JAV is often known for its sheer depravity, and the flicks at Whos.tv are no exception. There’s a wide, kinky variety of content on offer, with quick access to Japanese girls doing everything from sucking cock to giving footjobs to even freakier fare like bondage, voyeurism, femdom and much, much more.
Using Your Nudie Collection as a Search Tool
Speaking as a longtime fan of JAV, there have been so many times when I found hot screengrabs on the internet and then spent a ridiculous amount of time looking for the source. This seems to be a common predicament, as evidenced by all the posts on Reddit’s r/JAV asking for help finding full versions of snippets and screenshots.
Well, my friends, the days of aching for a mysterious Asian baddie might be over, at least in this case. Along with the Frame Exploration feature, another aspect of Whos.tv’s epic update is a new image-based search. It’s a lot like Google’s Image Search, except it actually works for dirty movies.
I took a quick detour over to r/JAV, where I found exactly one of those help-needed posts I mentioned. The redditor posted a screencap of a semi-bound lady in what looks like a crowded public space, maybe a train, while a dude in a button-down shirt licks her exposed titties. I grabbed the pic and then uploaded it into Whos.tv’s front-page search interface, cropped it and then searched.
The search engine returned a handful of potential matches with themes of bondage, titty-sucking and crowded rooms. The original pic is a little blurry so I can’t be sure it’s a 100% match, but I’ll be damned if the frame detail included with the top result doesn’t look like the spitting image. Either way, I bookmarked it, and I might settle in for a 243-minute fap to the movie after I finish writing this.
You do have to spend points to run an image search, but to my pleasant surprise, they don’t cost anything. In fact, I looked around for a way to buy them, and I don’t think you even can. You get 30 tokens dropped into your wallet as soon as you sign up, and can earn up to 140 per day just by doing things like favoriting content, sharing with your friends and even just browsing around. Honestly, the site is so well designed and well maintained that I wouldn’t feel bad about tossing a few bucks in the hat to help them keep the whole thing up and running, but I’m not going to complain about freebies.
As the Image AV Search gets more powerful, I’d love to see it identify models by face. I tried uploading a photo I’d snapped of Marica Hase, JAV idol and guest at PornDudeCasting, but got a seemingly random selection of smut for my troubles. I also tried with a headshot of the current most popular Whos.tv actress, Nakamura Miu, but got similar results. I think the machine is looking at elements other than facial composition, so screengrabs from JAV movies are going to get more accurate results.
Whos.tv could not be an easier recommendation to fans of Japanese Adult Video. Not only do they have quick links to hundreds of thousands of Japanese porno movies, but their search engine makes it so much easier to find your preferred content without spending all fucking day digging through endless lists and testing out different keywords. The Frame Exploration feature offers a unique alternate method of finding your kinks, and the image search will help you finally track down the movies your photo collection came from. If you’re into JAV, this one deserves a bookmark, my dudes.
