BraindanceVR evolved so much in their opening months that I quickly had to return and write a whole new review covering the upgrades. Truth be told, I actually thought they were nearing the limits of what the Meta Quest 3 was even capable of; the whole thing was impressive as hell, but I wasn’t sure there was much room for improvement until consumer headsets got better. Well, as you may have guessed from the fact that you’re reading this, I was wrong. Just one year later, they’ve made some major refinements that make the platform even easier to recommend to anyone with the gear to support it.
I’ve included BraindanceVR.com on my big list of VR Porn Sites, but that’s mainly because it doesn’t fit easily into any other genre. Their Augmented Reality scenes put 3D pornstars in your own bedroom, a reversal of the typical Virtual Reality porno format. There’s literally nothing else like it available anywhere, and I’m still surprised we haven’t seen any copycats sprouting up yet. If you’re looking for a futuristic new way to get your rocks off, you’d better grab some lube before you strap on your headgear.
Welcome to the Future, Perverts
First things first: you’re going to need to use a headset to see anything at Brain Dance VR. Most VR porn sites include some freebies you can peek at on your laptop, but that just doesn’t work with the format here. The good news is that the app works with Windows PCVR, Pico 4 and Quest 3, with easy installation through the Meta Quest Store. You needed to sideload the app when they launched, which could be a pain in the ass even for the technologically inclined.
Not only is it easier to set up than before, but it’s gotten a lot cheaper, too. They used to sell their scenes (“Memories”) a la carte like a VOD site, which could add up fast. Now, unlimited access to BraindanceVR.com costs less than a typical adult paysite. It’s twenty bucks a month compared to the thirty you’d pay for 2D premium porno, and gets considerably cheaper if you go yearly. If you want permanent access forever, a lifetime subscription is $169.
Subscribers also get access to around 200 full-length classic VR fuck flicks. Most of the movies run between 45 minutes and an hour, and there are famous pornstars everywhere I look. Demi Morgan, Charlotte Sins, Cassie Del Isla and Nickey Huntsman are just a few of the faces you can fap to on both BraindanceVR and my own PornDudeCasting, though I’m still rocking the 2D style.
Brain Dance VR has also worked with some of my former costars while producing their own 3D content. Catherine Knight, Lily Lou, Lexi Lore, Madison Wilde and Melody Marks are some of the names we have in common, and I bet there will be more. BraindanceVR shoots with beautiful and talented pornstars from around the world.
There’s a very basic free trial available, though it’s fully SFW and doesn’t show you all of what the app is capable of. You do get a nice peek at the realistic 3D imagery and how it fits into your room via augmented reality, but you’ll have to go premium if you want boobies and sex.
A New 3D Porn Scene Every Week
Brain Dance VR doesn’t do traditional porno movies, VR or otherwise. Instead, they refer to their scenes as Memories, and each one comes with a nice, fat handful of 3D videos. The earliest seasons did 3D stills with audio, then they rolled out video, and now the videos are longer and seem to include more detail, with fewer weird artifacts if you’re viewing from the “wrong” angle. As of this writing, there are just over 50 Memories available.
The dirty movies I produce are dead simple compared to the high-tech wizardry they’re doing here, so I’d definitely be willing to cut them some slack if they weren’t putting out as much content as a more traditional paysite. They ain’t slacking, though, and put out a new Memory every week. I’m pretty consistently disappointed with the monthly game releases on Meta Horizon+, but Braindance VR gives me a damn good reason to bust out my headset every Friday.
On a similar note, you may have to delete some of your boring shovelware just to gawk at these X-rated Memories. Downloads are mandatory, and they’re fucking massive. Memories typically run between 10 and 15 GB, and with no streaming options, you’ll need to plan your wank sessions in advance. It’s my biggest complaint about the platform, but it’s not their fault, just a technical limitation.
Bringing Porn Home with Braindance VR
I last reviewed BraindanceVR.com when they were on Season 2. They’re up to Season 6 now, but I figured I’d peek at Season 3 real quick so I could compare it to the current offerings. I’d been lusting after the blue-haired hottie in the front-page preview since they launched, so I downloaded one of her Memories, Ass of Spades.
Vixenp, our anime-haired heroine, stood before me in my living room in the opening scene. “I think you should know your place,” she said before picking up a scary metal implement. “This is a cage which you should put on your dick if it’s small,” she giggled, “and I know that yours is small, right?” A dildo comes out in the next scene, which she compares unfavorably to my own shaft.
This one’s listed as a 360-degree release, and yeah, it looks good from every angle. Other releases from the same season have weird artifacts if you try walking around them, but here, I got a fantastic view of Vixenp’s titular Ass of Spades back there. Each scene in this memory is about 30 seconds, progressing to a dildo titwank and stroking, and they’re all fantastic.
Braindance VR Just Keeps Getting Better
Next, I loaded up a current memory, a lesbian BDSM encounter called Girls, Interrupted. Some of the improvements to the technology are immediately apparent here. For one thing, these memories look great from every angle despite not having that 360-degree label. The newer Memories are also noticeably longer, with most individual scenes running a minute or two. In earlier seasons, the dialog often ran longer than the video, which could spoil the immersion a bit.
This one opens with a rope-bound redhead kneeling in front of a hot blonde. “Mmmm, look at you, all tied up. You’re trembling,” the blonde giggled. “You just want it so bad, don’t you?” The clothes start coming off in the second scene, which was playing out on top of my coffee table. If you want to make them into giantesses or tiny little nymphettes, hit the Lock Scale button, but life size was the right fit for my living room.
Watching a regular VR porno movie, you’re stuck in one position, and even moving your head too much can result in weirdness that pulls you out of the scene. With Braindance VR, you can get up, walk around and take in the action from any angle. Lean in and they get closer, letting you peek at crisp details like the texture of nylons, the wrinkles on a cooter, or the delicate soles of a woman’s 3D feet. When the blondie straddled the redhead’s face to get her pussy eaten, I got my face right up in there for a close-up. My dudes, I could practically smell it!
“Let’s put this big dildo in,” says the blonde chick after revealing the toy. I feel like the interface works more smoothly than it used to, without any hiccups as we moved from one dynamic memory to the next. The ropes get tighter towards the end, and red quivers when her pussy is vibed to completion. In the final scene, the blonde is presenting the redhead to the viewer and telling her to stick her tongue out. “She’s all yours. Glaze that face. Cover it!” You’d better get some tissues or something ready or you may end up scrubbing jizz from your couch.
BraindanceVR.com is literally one of my easiest recommendations for anybody with a boner and a VR headset. The technology is amazing, the kind of thing you’ll probably want to check out just for the sheer novelty value if nothing else. Beyond that, it’s also a brand new, unique and high-tech way to jack off, and it really does look and feel like having a porn scene unfold before your eyes. Passthrough porno movies are cool and all, but one wrong move and the illusion is ruined. Braindance VR doesn’t have that issue, and they drop a new scene onto your literal bed at home every week. What more could you want?
